en Cuevana. Saving Sea Turtles: Preventing Extinction tells the story of the 2014 sea turtle standing season in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Over 1,400 sea turtles washed ashore in early winter, and 90% were the critically endangered Kemp’s Ridley. Narrated by Sylvia Earle, this documentary tells the story of why these turtles strand and what rescuers do to return them to the wild.
