Girraween: The Pilliga
Girraween: The Pilliga
Girraween: The Pilliga en Cuevana. For the Gomeroi people, Girraween-Pilliga is living, breathing spiritual Country — a place of ceremony, connection, and Law that has sustained First Nations culture for tens of thousands of years. And current state heritage laws — controlled by a single government Minister — are being used to override the spiritual and cultural rights of the Gomeroi people. Professor Ghillar Michael Anderson is taking this fight to court.
