The arrival of Sofia as his second wife, who has a child named Sara, is accepted albeit bitterly by Maryam. Although she is the second wife, Sofia is constantly jealous of Maryam, especially when Maryam is confirmed to be pregnant. Maryam is defamed by Sofia, causing the death of their husband.
